At Kids Out West, we provide specially trained and professional staff to supervise and support children and young people during times of significant need and transition. Our team is experienced in managing complex and challenging behaviours, with training in Trauma-Informed Care, Cultural Sensitivity and Awareness, and First Aid.
We understand that staff consistency is essential for building routine, trust, and rapport, especially during periods of environmental and emotional upheaval. That’s why we prioritise continuity of care and relationships that foster safety, stability, and healing.
As an accredited agency with the Office of the Children's Guardian (OCG), Kids Out West delivers care through a small, dedicated team of skilled professionals who take an intensive, therapeutic approach to address the impacts of trauma, abuse, neglect, and separation from family and community.
Our evidence-based and culturally responsive model promotes positive, healing relationships and provides a safe, nurturing home environment that supports each child’s developmental, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.
This service is available across New South Wales.
