Kids Out West is committed to supporting safe and sustainable restoration for children and young people returning to the care of their families.
Our staff work closely with caseworkers, families, and carers to provide practical, supervised support that strengthens parenting capacity and promotes positive reunification outcomes. This includes assisting with family time, transportation, supervised contact, and daily living routines to help ease the transition back home.
Our team understands the importance of familiarity, consistency, and trust throughout the restoration process. We provide care that is respectful, child-centred, and culturally responsive, helping children maintain meaningful connections with family while ensuring their emotional and physical safety.
All support is provided in line with the child’s case plan, under the direction of qualified practitioners and in collaboration with agency and departmental stakeholders. Our goal is to create a supportive environment that empowers families and contributes to long-term wellbeing and stability for each child or young person.
